10 Ways to Naturally Thicken your Hair!
If you look around, more and more people are suffering from hair loss and thinning hair. It may not be life threatening, however, hair loss may cause you to worry excessively, preventing you to tend to more important areas of your life. That is why I have put together this list to combat hair loss, no matter what your age.
Remember, it is best to do as many of the activities listed below if you want real results.

1. Jogging or Intense Aerobics to prevent hair loss and re-grow hair

Start a jogging routine where you jog 3-4 times a week. I don’t recommend going on a treadmill as it can be very dull and boring, no matter how convenient it may sound to you, avoid it; I find that jogging outdoors is much more entertaining for the mind to keep going, especially if you have your favorite music playing on your MP3 player.
If you don’t think jogging is your thing, then you can try any other similar sporting activity that will get your heart rate up; such as skipping, playing football, intense swimming and some others.
Increased circulation is the main objective here. If the body is not being taken care of, over time, circulation decreases, and hair is the first to go.

2. Herbs to prevent Hair loss and Re-grow hair

There are several herbs that can combat hair loss. The best ones for this, from my personal experience, are Saw Palmetto and Shou Wu Wan (polygonum multiforum).
Saw Palmetto – Not all pills being sold online are effective and potent enough for helping with people suffering from hair loss. They should be 320mg servings of soft gels. If you don’t trust “pills” at all, then why not buy the actual Saw Palmetto berry. Best results are if you cycle this product, i.e. take it for 2-3 weeks and then stop for 2-3 weeks. This is how it’s worked best for me.
Shou Wu Wan – This herb purifies the blood, which in turn regenerates the hair, as well as the organs within the body. In Chinese medicine, hair loss is directly linked to kidney and liver energy. This is why blood purification is important for hair. Buy from a known herbalist or well reviewed online store, as herb quality can be different. Also, do not be frightened by the amount of tablets you need to take for Chinese herbs. They are designed to be mild, yet effective. I also suggest this be taken in cycles as the other herb; but longer cycles like 2-3 months on, 2-3 months off.
Once you reach your desired level of hair thickness and growth, you don’t need to continue taking the herbs, thou I suggest taking a reduced maintenance dosage of Saw palmetto.

3. Throw away chemical based shampoos to Eliminate Hair Loss

Throw away your current shampoo and conditioner bottles; they are most likely filled with chemicals your hair can do without. Go for all natural shampoo with only a few natural ingredients. Its best to buy a few different bottles to see which one best suits your hair. Beware of companies advertising as all natural, but hiding the ingredients in some legal form or another.
I recommend the “101 Nourishing Shampoo”. It’s very mild, and its ingredients are only a handful of natural herbs.

4. Drink Herbal tea to stop hair loss and re-grow hair

Drink herbal tea a few times a day (2-3 is optimal). It not only will refresh your skin but also support thicker hair growth. Green tea is good, but I recommend using detox tea. In my experience it has given me the most powerful results when combined with other activities listed here. Consume detox tea by taking it 2-3 times a day, for 2-3 weeks; and then stopping for 2-3 weeks.

5. Stand in horse stance position to stop hair loss and re-grow hair

Yes, I know this might sound crazy but it works. Standing in horse stance (Google it for images) forces blood circulation into the thigh bones, which in turn produces fresh blood to rejuvenate the whole body. Not many people know this secret, but it has been practiced in the martial arts for thousands of years as one of the secrets to health; and it can support your hair loss regime.
Practice standing on it for as long as you can every day (this usually is 1-5 minutes for most people).

6. Stop using hair dryers, gels and wax - Stop hair loss, and re-grow hair

If you are really serious about preventing any further hair loss and re-growing hair, I hope you will really consider doing this. It is vital that you stop putting in any chemicals in your hair that may be causing more damage than anything else. If you do have to use styling products, use water based natural wax; and only use very small amounts.

7. Reduce Intake of Animal Fat and deep fried food to stop hair loss

Your arteries get clogged from years of abuse from over eating animal fat and deep fried foods; stop it. Don’t take any deep fried foods and avoid all animal fats for at least 1 month. After that, you may occasionally have the foods on parties or dinners, but be very careful; ignoring this point can sabotage your hair re-growth.
Replace your cooking oil with the freshest olive oil you can find. This may be hard to do, as fresh olive oil only is available by subscribing to clubs dedicated to providing the freshest unprocessed olive oils. Tasting with a spoon will tell you how different they are to typical processed oils.

8. Buy a Self Hypnosis CD – Hair loss prevention and Hair Re-growth

Recent studies have shown that hypnosis can be used to clear skin as well as hair re-growth. Although you will find many skeptics on this topic, there is a very detailed scientific explanation (beyond the scope of this article) that explains why hypnosis works for physical body problems such has hair loss and many others.
The two best sites I have found for this are Hyptalk Hypnosis and Deep Trance Now. They both have great hair loss MP3s/CDs that you can buy at a reasonable price.

9. Lose Weight to prevent Hair loss

This one might have seemed obvious, but getting into shape and losing the excess fat will help unclogging your capillaries leading to increased circulation, which will greatly help in hair re-growth; especially if done with the rest of the activities listed here.

10. Relax and Stop Worrying

I cannot emphasize this enough; long term stress can cause so much damage to your body (Hair loss is just one of them). Many people are unaware of the fact that they are even stressed, simply because it’s an everyday thing. This can very dangerous as stress is a major contributor to many illnesses.
Take time out for yourself, doing what makes you most relaxed. Don’t feel guilty for doing this; after all, you are in your most resourceful state when you have taken care of yourself first, then in turn you can help others around.
